I graduated from the University of Glasgow with BSc (Hons) Physics with Astrophysics in 2018 and subsequently joined the Centre for Doctoral Training in Intelligent sensing and Measurement and will be undertaking a PhD project with Dr Matteo Clerici in the field of quantum non-linear optics. As part of my PhD I will also spend time at the University of Edinburgh for further training in sensing and measurement.
I have a strong interest in science communication and education and have contributed to STFC outreach projects such as Project F.A.B. (see more at project-fab.science ) and taught university-level Physics to undergraduate students from various campuses of the University of California (including UC Berkeley and UCLA) as part of a summer school during my undergraduate degree. I am an advocate for diversity and inclusivity in STEM and am particularly interested in championing women in science.
